Allogene Therapeutics (ALLO) said Monday its investigational blood cancer therapy demonstrated a 58.3% disease clearance rate in an interim analysis of a Phase 2 clinical trial.

The treatment arm showed a 41.6 percentage-point improvement in minimal residual disease clearance compared with the 16.7% clearance rate observed in the control group, the company said.

Patients receiving the experimental drug experienced a 97.7% median decline in tumor DNA markers after 45 days, compared with a 26.6% median increase among untreated participants, it said.

The therapy was generally well tolerated, with no instances of severe immune reactions or hospitalizations.

Allogene said it expects to conduct an initial survival analysis in mid-2027 and complete trial enrollment by the end of that year.

Shares of the company were up over 60% in premarket trading on Monday.
