The in vitro diagnostics company said its preliminary unaudited revenue expectations for the first quarter are $615 million to $620 million. Analysts were expecting $677.8 million, according to FactSet.

Based on its first-quarter projection, the company said it can still reach the low end of its full-year outlook.

Visits in the U.S. for flu-like illnesses decreased 30% from the prior year.
