Yancoal Australia's (HKG:3668, ASX:YAL) saleable coal production fell 5% to 9 million tons in the first quarter of 2026 from 9.5 million tons in the year-ago period, a Monday filing with the Hong Kong bourse said.
Sales slipped 2% to 8.2 million tons from 8.4 million tons in the prior-year period.
The average realized price of coal slid 7% year over year to AU$146 per ton from AU$157 per ton previously, according to the filing.
Production during the first quarter decreased 2% to 11.3 million tons from 11.5 million tons last year.
