CapitaLand China Trust's Near-Term Outlook Appears Stable -- Market Talk

0532 GMT - CapitaLand China Trust's near-term outlook appears stable, say DBS Group Research analysts in commentary. The real-estate investment trust's occupancy was broadly unchanged in 1Q despite a decline in rents renewed, which suggests resilient underlying demand, they say, Its logistics portfolio is showing early signs that its rent rates are bottoming, they say. Still, the analysts continue to watch for a clearer inflection point, which may take longer to materialize given geopolitical tensions, inflation uncertainty and muted leasing sentiment. DBS maintains its hold rating and S$0.75 target price. Units rise 0.7% to S$0.685. (megan.cheah@wsj.com)
