Shares of homebuilder Century Communities were trading lower in the after-hours market Wednesday, following the release of first-quarter financial results and the company reducing its expected home deliveries number for the fiscal year.

After the bell, the company's shares were trading 5% lower, at $60.50. The stock finished the day's regular session at $63.82, roughly flat.

After the bell, Century Communities said it was expecting full year 2026 home deliveries in the range of 9,500 to 10,500 homes. Previously, the company said it was expecting a range of 10,000 to 11,000. The company also lowered its guidance for FY26 homes sales revenues, to a range of $3.5 billion and $3.8 billion. The company had previously said it was expecting a range of $3.6 billion to $4.1 billion.

Dale Francescon, the company's executive chairman, said demand at the start of the first quarter was roughly in line with year-ago levels, but factors including higher interest rates and gas prices weighed on order activity.

The company reported first-quarter earnings per share of 84 cents per share on revenue of $789.7 million. In the year-ago period, the company reported EPS of $1.26 on revenue of $903.2 million.
