Avino Silver & Gold Mines' (ASM) Q1 silver equivalent production declined 10% to 568,112 ounces from 631,249 ounces a year earlier, the company said Thursday.

Silver production edged down 1% to 263,057 ounces, while gold output fell 17% to 1,851 ounces, Avino said.

The company said its copper production decreased 16% to 1.34 million pounds, while mill throughput increased 11% from a year earlier.

The company said production was affected by planned mining in lower-grade areas during the quarter.

Avino said it plans to release Q1 financial report after market close on May 13.
