European Airports Threatened by Capacity Cuts on Jet-Fuel Shortage -- Market Talk

Dow Jones
04/22

1346 GMT - European airports are at risk from cuts to flight schedules resulting from jet-fuel shortages, J.P. Morgan analysts write. Fraport's Frankfurt airport and U.K. airports owned by Vinci are the most at risk from falling fuel supplies, they say. "While our conversations with the airports we cover have been reassuring regarding fuel supply to their core assets, the risk of capacity disruption remains high in the absence of further visibility," they say. U.K. airports and airlines stand to lose out most from shortages as they are more dependent on imports from the Middle East, the analysts add. (josephmichael.stonor@wsj.com)
