Generation Development Group (ASX:GDG) unit Generation Life experienced a cyber incident involving unauthorized access to part of its network through a third-party service provider, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.

The subsidiary quickly detected and "immediately contained" the incident, with no impact on its core systems, no evidence of unauthorized transactions so far, and "minimal disruption" to operations, per the filing.

Generation Life has launched an investigation into the incident.
