Kforce (KFRC) reported late Monday better-than-expected Q1 results, with its Q2 guidance for earnings and revenue also exceeding market expectations.

Shares surged 45%, with intraday trading volume of over 945,000 against a daily average of roughly 282,000.

Axogen (AXGN) shares jumped 7% after the company reported Tuesday a swing to Q1 adjusted EPS from a a loss a year earlier following a surge in revenue.

More than 1.75 million shares traded intraday, compared with a daily average of about 1.03 million.
