SiTime (SITM) said Monday that the waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Act expired 11:59 pm ET on May 8, in connection with its pending acquisition of certain assets of Renesas Electronics subsidiary Renesas Electronics America.

SiTime has obtained a 364-day senior secured bridge loan facility of up to $900 million from Wells Fargo to fund the cash portion of the acquisition, the company said.

The company added it may replace all or a portion of the bridge facility with bank or capital markets financing prior to the closing of the acquisition.
