HF Sinclair said on Monday a fire that broke out at its 166,520 b/d Tulsa, Okla., refinery has been extinguished and the incident did not affect the facility's production.

"There is currently no impact on production," a company spokeswoman said in a Monday email.

The refinery operator also said that one employee was taken off site for medical attention and all other personnel were accounted for following the fire that occurred at around 10:45 a.m. CT on Monday.

HF Sinclair said there was no indication of off-site impacts as of Monday and its personnel will conduct an investigation into the cause of the incident.

The Tulsa refinery, which also produces base oil, lubricants, horticultural oils, asphalt modifiers and wax, supplies products to the U.S. Midcontinent regions.

HF Sinclair operates seven U.S. refineries and it also manufactures renewable fuels and other petroleum products.
