Adeia (ADEA) said Tuesday it has renewed a multi-year intellectual property licensing agreement with Alphabet's Google (GOOG, GOOGL), giving it broad access to its media IP portfolio.

Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Adeia said its media innovations enable functionality across streaming, connected TV, and digital entertainment platforms and that Google has been a customer since 2012.

Adeia shares were 4.7% higher in premarket trading.
