Lazard (LAZ) reported preliminary assets under management Tuesday of about $275.4 billion as of April 30, up from $259.2 billion the previous month.

The company said the monthly increase in assets under management included market appreciation of $13.2 billion and $2.9 billion in foreign exchange gain.
