Kestrel Group recorded a wider loss in its latest quarter as expenses rose. The specialty insurance company's first-quarter loss was $7.4 million, or 96 cents a share, compared with a loss of $394,000, or 14 cents a share, a year earlier. The wider loss was driven by higher expenses, including an increase in general and administrative expenses. The stock fell 7.5% to $10.98 in late trading Friday.
First Tracks Biotherapeutics said existing stockholders would resell more than 10 million shares. The former subsidiary of AnaptysBio, which spun off in April, said shareholders would offload almost 10.5 million shares of common stock at prevailing market prices or in private deals. First Tracks won't receive any money from the sales. Shares were down 7.3% at $18.12 after hours.
Inhibrx Biosciences said it would release data from a Phase 2 study of INBRX-106, a potential cancer treatment, with plans to read out the data in a webcast at 8:30 a.m. EDT on Monday. INBRX-106 is being tested in combination with pembrolizumab to treat metastatic or unresectable recurrent head and neck squamous cell carcinoma. Shares rose 9.7% to $147.32 after the bell.
