Dekon Food and Agriculture (HKG:2419) sold a little over 1 million heads of market hogs in April with a total sales revenue of 1.32 billion yuan, according to a Friday Hong Kong bourse filing.
The company's shares fell nearly 1% in morning trade Monday.
The average selling price of market hogs for the month was 9.22 yuan per kilogram, down 8.4% from the previous month.
The livestock company's revenue from the sale of nearly 5.6 million yellow-feathered broilers stood at 197.3 million yuan in the month, with an average selling price of 14.57 yuan per kilogram.
For the first four months of 2026, market hog head sales reached over 3.8 million with a revenue of 5.49 billion yuan, while the firm saw a revenue of 855 million yuan from the sale of 23.4 million broilers.
