Teledyne Technologies' (TDY) Teledyne FLIR Defense unit said Wednesday that its Rouge 1 advanced drone platform has been chosen by the US Army for its Low Altitude Stalking and Strike Ordnance program under a two-year contract.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
The company said the platform will allow the Army to conduct precision strikes against tanks and other armored vehicles using uncrewed aerial vehicles. Rogue 1 has already has been delivered to US Special Operations Command and the US Marine Corps for their current loitering munition programs, Teledyne FLIR said.
