0923 GMT - Singapore Airlines' earnings are likely to weaken further, Citi Research analysts write in a note. Associate Air India's loss appears to be worsening, while high airfares on flights for SIA and low cost carrier Scoot don't fully offset the rise in jet fuel prices, they say. The January-March associate loss alone was S$275 million which arguably wasn't affected by higher fuel costs given general jet fuel supply contract will push back their effects by a month, they add. Citi retains a sell rating on SIA's shares with target price of S$6.28. Shares closed 2.4% higher at S$6.42. (kimberley.kao@wsj.com)
