NH3 Clean Energy (ASX:NH3) agreed to participate in the pilot phase of the Ammonia Energy Association's Ammonia Certification System, allowing the company to pre-certify the expected emissions profile of ammonia to be produced from its WAH2 project in Western Australia, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.

The Ammonia Certification System is designed to facilitate the transparent and trusted international trade of low-emission ammonia, demonstrating key environmental attributes through independently verified data, the filing said.

Shares rose 4% in morning trade on Friday.
