Intuitive Machines received two lunar reconnaissance contracts totalling $20 million.

The space technology company said Monday it will lead imaging operations, data analysis and mission support for two cameras used in space missions.

The first contract, worth $15.5 million over three years, supports operations of a camera used aboard NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter. The other contract, worth $4.5 million over three years, is for a lunar imaging camera called ShadowCam used on board the Korea Pathfinder Lunar Orbiter.

Both awards are cost-plus-fixed-fee contracts.

Intuitive will also lead moon surface mapping operations for NASA's orbiter, and imaging of permanently shadowed regions for the Korea Pathfinder.
