TA Associates Management said it doesn't intend to make an offer for Advanced Medical Solutions, after previously mooting a proposal.

The private equity firm said Friday that it won't make an offer for the entire issued and to be issued share capital of AMS.

"TA is grateful for the engagement with the AMS Board and management team and would like to thank them for their time and consideration of this potential transaction," the firm said.

AMS said last month that it was in talks with TA Associates over a possible offer. The medical technology company said at the time there was no certainty an offer would be made.
