Vontier doubled its share-repurchase authorization after nearing the limit of its original program.
The industrial-technology company said Tuesday that it may repurchase up to $1 billion in shares, effective immediately.
The program increases its existing $500 million authorization approved at the end of April last year, which Vontier said has about $165 million remaining in the program.
So far in 2026, the company has repurchased $105 million worth of stock and said that it expects to deploy a majority of its adjusted free cash flow this year to buy more shares, including at least $125 million in the second quarter.
