Lantheus (LNTH) is considering a sale after receiving a takeover offer from Curium valuing it at about $7 billion, Bloomberg reported Friday, citing unnamed sources familiar with the matter.

The two companies have been in talks about a potential transaction that may be weeks away, the report said, adding a final decision has not been made and there is no guarantee a deal will materialize.

Lantheus declined to comment when reached by MT Newswires.
