Skillsoft Corp (SKIL) said late Wednesday it has appointed Ron Kisling as chief financial officer, effective immediately.

Kisling, most recently served in CFO roles at Fastly and Fitbit, succeeds John Frederick, who will be retiring and act as an advisor through early September, the company said.

Skillsoft said Kisling is joining as the company begins the next phase of its transformation following the signing of the Global Knowledge business sale.
