1046 ET - Best Buy is in the early steps of requesting tariff refunds, but doesn't expect to see a rebate as big as other companies, Chief Executive Officer Corie Barry tells reporters on a call. Best Buy is the importer of record for around 2% or 3% of its products, she says. "The tariffs explicitly are only charged on a pretty small proportion of what we sell," Barry says. "That means that as a proportion of our revenue our potential tariff refund is quite small." She adds that the company is working with its vendors and intends to pass along any tariff recovery to customers. (elias.schisgall@wsj.com)
