EnerSys realigned its operating segments, cutting its number of segments to three from four.
The businesses are network and infrastructure solutions, which will provide power solutions and services to broadband, telecommunications, data center, and industrial utility customers, industrial mobility solutions, which will power industrial vehicles and equipment, and precision power solutions, which will provide energy solutions for defense, aerospace and specialized applications.
"Bringing our lift truck and transportation businesses together into one line of business creates stronger internal alignment, enables cross-selling, and allows us to deepen relationships with our warehousing and logistics customers," said Chief Executive Shawn O'Connell. "In addition, this structure provides greater visibility into our fast-growing aerospace and defense-focused PPS segment."
