Manhattan Associates said it plans to cut about 6% of its global headcount.

The maker of supply-chain and industry software said Monday that the layoffs would allow it to focus investments on its strategic priorities.

The job cuts are expected to cost the company about $7 million to $9 million in severance and other one-time termination benefits during the second quarter.

Software companies have been laying off swaths of their staff in recent months to devote more resources to artificial intelligence. Intuit and Cisco each announced significant layoffs last month.

Manhattan Associates has made agentic AI a bigger part of its business. The company in January launched a set of AI tools for its supply chain and retail software.
