Drone Maker Aevex's Stock Slides on Public Offering

Shares of Aevex fell after the company opened a public offering of 5.7 million shares, along with another 2.3 million shares from certain selling stockholders.

The stock was down 9.2% at $35.05 after hours. The company's initial public offering in April was priced at $20.

The drone maker, which is owned by private-equity firm Madison Dearborn Partners, said it was also granting underwriters a 30-day option to buy an additional 858,923 shares. The selling stockholders meanwhile were granting options for another 341,077 shares.

The offering is subject to market and other conditions, with no assurance that the offering will be completed.
