The official release of M3 by MiniMax marks an "important foundation model infrastructure breakthrough," the analysts say. "We believe the release signals MiniMax's strategic push to compete at the high end of the AI market, though the market might have hoped M3 would also be an intelligence breakthrough," the analysts say. The company may get more recognition by investors when the new model is adopted by more people, they add. Citi keeps a buy/high risk rating on the stock with a target price of HK$1,330.00.
