Shares of ServiceTitan rose sharply in premarket trading following a blockbuster earnings report issued after the bell Thursday.

ServiceTitan, which makes a software platform for trade professionals like plumbers and electricians, got caught in the software pullback earlier this year. The earnings report may help ease investors' concerns about the company's long-term trajectory.

ServiceTitan stock jumped 16% to $86.45 on Friday. It closed Thursday down 30% for 2026.

The company reported adjusted earnings of 37 cents a share for its fiscal first quarter, up from 18 cents a year ago and above analysts' consensus estimates of 28 cents, according to FactSet. Revenue rose 25% year over year to $268.8 million, above Wall Street's call for $257.4 million.

ServiceTitan now expects revenue of $1.13 billion to $1.14 billion for fiscal 2027, up from an earlier estimate of $1.11 to $1.12 billion. Management lifted its forecast for operating income by $14 million to a range of $142 million to $147 million.

The results made for a "squeaky clean quarter," said KeyBanc Capital Markets analyst Jason Celino. ServiceTitan continues to win larger enterprise customers, Celino noted, and the rollout of its Max workflow-automation program is going strong.

KeyBanc reiterated an Overweight rating and $120 price target on the stock, calling ServiceTitan one of its top ideas in 2026.

ServiceTitan's progress with Max was particularly encouraging to analysts at BTIG, who see the company as an artificial-intelligence winner. Max incorporates AI-powered virtual agents, which have seen strong customer adoption, the firm noted.

BTIG, which has a Buy rating on the stock, lifted its price target to $110 from $90 following the earnings print.

At a time when seemingly every software provider is trying to defend itself against potential disruption by AI, ServiceTitan stands out as the real deal, argued Morgan Stanley. The firm continues to see ServiceTitan as a "top pick," bumping its price target to $124 from $118 in a research note.

ServiceTitan combines a vault of proprietary data with end-to-end AI integration. The company's positioning "makes it hard for new entrants or point solutions who do not control all aspects of the end-to-end platform to deliver value in the same way ServiceTitan can," wrote Morgan Stanley analysts Josh Baer and Keith Weiss.
