FuelCell Energy (FCEL) reported a fiscal Q2 adjusted net loss Monday of $0.53 per diluted share, narrowing from a loss of $1.53 a year earlier.
Two analysts polled by FactSet expected a loss of $0.43.
Total revenue for the quarter ended April 30 was $35.6 million, compared with $37.4 million a year earlier.
Analysts expected $40.5 million.
Shares of the company were up more than 7% in Monday premarket activity.
