Harrow shares advanced after the ophthalmic company relaunched a treatment for vernal keratoconjunctivitis, an allergic eye disease that primarily affects children.

Shares were recently up 9.5% at $34.64. The stock is up 22% in the past month.

The company said Verkazia, a calcineurin inhibitor immunomodulator, targets the underlying inflammation in VKC, and may reduce reliance on steroid "rescue" therapies. It carries risks such as glaucoma and cataract formation.

"Our focus with this re-launch is straightforward: ensure dependable supply, remove access barriers, and enable physicians and patients to reliably obtain this important, steroid-sparing treatment," Chief Executive Mark Baum said.
