Prestige Estates Projects, whose investors include BlackRock (BLK) and Vanguard Group, is targeting about 600 billion rupees ($6.3 billion) in estimated sales value for the current fiscal year as the Indian developer prepares to launch projects across the country, Bloomberg News reported Friday, citing an interview with Chairman Irfan Razack.
The target represents a nearly 43% increase from 420 billion rupees in the previous fiscal year ended March, Bloomberg reported.
Prestige has the required land and inventory in place, but the timing of the launches depends on regulatory approvals, Razack told Bloomberg. Approval delays caused the company to pause major launches in the quarter ending June, he said.
BlackRock and Prestige Estates Projects did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
