Hyperscale Data Begins Production of OPR-R2 Humanoid Robots, Shares Rise

Hyperscale Data (GPUS) said Thursday it has started production of the first 30 of the planned 143 OPR-R2 humanoid robots through its unit Omnipresent Robotics to support artificial intelligence training.

The data center company expects to begin receiving components and assembling the robots for deployment at its Michigan AI data center campus in the third quarter.

The robots are expected to help with the development of embodied AI applications, autonomous workflows, and advanced robotics systems.

Shares rose nearly 5% in recent after-hours trading.
