Children's Place (PLCE) reported a fiscal Q1 adjusted loss late Friday of $2 per diluted share, widening from the loss of $1.52 a year earlier.

One analyst polled by FactSet expected a loss of $2.15.

Revenue in the three months ended May 2 fell to $215.2 million from $242.1 million a year earlier.

One analyst expected $198.3 million.
