SCHMID Group (SHMD) recorded order intake of more than 26 million euros ($30.2 million) since mid-May, driven by demand for manufacturing technologies used in artificial intelligence infrastructure and optical module supply chains, the company said Tuesday.

The company said the orders cover its InfinityLine production equipment for high-density interconnect multilayer and modified semi-additive processing applications used in AI servers, high-speed networking and optical communication modules.

Shares of the company were over 5% higher in Tuesday premarket activity.
