Acumen Pharmaceuticals (ABOS) said Tuesday that it has nominated two development candidates, ACU301 and ACU401, from its Enhanced Brain Delivery program to treat patients with Alzheimer's disease.
The biopharmaceutical company said it has exercised its option with JCR Pharmaceuticals under a deal to advance the candidates. The companies will combine Acumen's A-beta-O selective antibody capabilities and JCR's J-Brain Cargo, its transferrin receptor-targeting technology for blood-brain barrier penetration.
