Solidon Technoloy (STI) said Tuesday it has introduced an artificial intelligence-assisted bipolar battery pack framework engineered for electric aircraft, space infrastructure and data centers.

The system directly links electrodes and solid electrolyte layers to assemble a power unit without creating individual cells, the company said.

The new manufacturing approach addresses payload limitations by using a single casing and a minimal number of connectors, while reducing production expenses and cutting the total size and weight of the battery pack, Solidion said.

Shares of the company were up 11% in Tuesday premarket activity.
