Jacobs (J) said Monday it has been appointed by Singapore's national water agency PUB to provide a feasibility study for a planned desalination plant.

The study will explore designs to maximize land efficiency and combine multiple uses like incorporating higher multistory buildings or deeper basements to house treatment facilities, the company said.
