CervoMed (CRVO) received a notice of allowance from the US Patent and Trademark Office for a patent application related to the use of its drug candidate, neflamapimod, to treat dementia with Lewy bodies, the company said Thursday.

Shares jumped more than 10% following an increase in intraday trading volume to over 99.9 million from a daily average of about 3.5 million.
