Enbridge (ENB) completed an exchange of all outstanding medium-term notes issued by its Enbridge Pipelines unit for an equal principal amount of newly issued Enbridge notes with identical financial terms

The transaction gives the pipeline unit more operating flexibility and delivers operational, structural and capital-markets benefits to both entities and former noteholders, Enbridge said Tuesday in a statement.
