Alaska Air Group (ALK) said Wednesday that Alaska Airlines CFO Shane Tackett has been named president, effective June 29.

Tackett, who has been Alaska Airlines CFO since 2020, will continue to lead the company's finance, fleet management, investor relations, supply chain, internal audit and information technology functions, while adding the commercial organization to his responsibilities, the company said.

Alaska Air shares were 1.9% higher in Wednesday.
