Alcoa Secures Electricity Supply for Norway Aluminum Plant

Alcoa (AA) has signed two new power agreements with renewable energy producer Statkraft to secure electricity supply for its aluminum plant at Lista, Norway, Statkraft said Thursday.

The agreements cover deliveries of about 4.8 terawatt-hours of electricity between 2028 and 2031, Statkraft said.
