EVT (ASX:EVT) EVT, owners of Event Cinemas, said it has added four new SCREENX locations, expanding its multi-year partnership with CJ 4DPLEX, a producer of premium cinema formats and immersive theater experiences, according to a Friday statement.

The company said the new SCREENX locations will open at Event Cinemas Bondi in Australia and Event Cinemas Albany in New Zealand, with a third and fourth Australian location to be announced.

SCREENX is a multi-projection cinema format that expands select scenes of a film beyond the traditional frame and onto the side walls of the theater to create a 270-degree panoramic viewing environment, the statement added.
