National Australia Bank (ASX:NAB) launched NAB Nexus, an integrated operations hub designed to protect it from rapidly evolving artificial intelligence-enabled threats, protect customers, and support critical banking services, the bank said in a statement on Monday.

NAB Group Chief Executive Officer Andrew Irvine said the hub will integrate technology, cyber security, fraud, payments, and physical security capabilities. It supports continuous monitoring, faster handover, and more coordinated response.

The lender said it had invested over AU$900 million in fiscal 2025 in fraud, scams, cyber, and financial crime protections.
