Jaguar Health (JAGX) said Monday its board has started a process to explore strategic alternatives to maximize shareholder value.
The company said alternatives may include mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, joint ventures, licensing deals or other transactions.
The move is aligned with the expected completion of clinical work to support the filing of a new drug application for its crofelemer-based prescription drug candidate for rare intestinal failure diseases, Jaguar Health said.
Jaguar Health shares were down 1.3% in premarket activity Monday.
