Accenture (ACN) entered an engineering agreement with Coretura to accelerate development of a software-defined platform for medium- and heavy-duty commercial vehicles, the companies said Wednesday.

Financial details weren't provided.

Under the partnership, Accenture will provide software-defined vehicle engineering expertise to support platform development, integration, testing, documentation and compliance, the companies said.

The collaboration supports Coretura's plan to launch its first commercial products by the end of the decade and deliver a reusable software platform for commercial vehicles, they added.
