Merck (MRK) collaborated with local officials to evaluate the creation of a supply facility inside the Health, Endurance, Longevity, and Medicine Cluster, the Abu Dhabi Department of Health said Thursday.

The proposed distribution center would manage the shipment of various medical products across multiple regional markets, the company said.

The project intends to minimize logistical vulnerabilities and provide infrastructure to scale new healthcare treatments, the department said.
