Brookfield Asset Management (BAM) says deals pairing clean energy generation with battery storage options are starting to dominate the electric energy space, Bloomberg reported, citing an executive.
Arnaud Jouvin, an Brookfield executive focused on energy storage, said many clients want batteries as well as solar panels, Bloomberg reported.
Storage options allow wind and solar projects to provide uninterrupted power.
Brookfield and its portfolio companies have secured three such hybrid power purchase agreements. Bloomberg cited Jouvin as saying.
Brookfield did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
