Vertiv (VRT) opened its first Southeast Asian manufacturing facility in Johor, Malaysia, to produce power and cooling systems for AI and data center customers across Asia-Pacific, Bloomberg reported Wednesday.
The company said the plant, which is expected to be fully operational in 2027, will expand its manufacturing capacity as demand for AI infrastructure accelerates across the Asia-Pacific region, the report added.
Vertiv did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
