Teledyne Technologies (TDY) unit Teledyne FLIR Defense and Storm said Wednesday that they have partnered to integrate Teledyne's Black Recon vehicle reconnaissance drone system into the Rapid Adapt and Deploy System.

The collaboration provides a standardized path to deploy the autonomous drone technology into a larger variety of vehicles.

The specialized architecture allows crews to mount, upgrade, or transfer the micro-unmanned UAV hardware between diverse platforms, the companies said.
